Not to sound like a delusional Spirit poster, but...

between this and Liggins - are we culling some of the class to make room for other better (hopefully) players?

not really, considering

we had two juco tackles committed and were going after another (one of which is headed to a&m). I don't think we were ever going to sign three juco olinemen. I would imagine the coaches decided they didn't need this guy which means he probably didn't have a chance of starting.

correction. Reading another board, apparently he was led to usm by his girlfriend. His family wanted him to stick with State, but the vajayjay won out.

I heard the coach buys them a new suit at the end of the season for every win- maybe he needs one?

Talked to one of the Hinds assistant coaches earlier this week. Said Mullen and company had heard about his switch and got pretty upset about it. They went down and thought they had him turned back to us. But apparently that pink-mouthed snapping turtle won out. As another poster said, it's unbeaten, untied, and has started wars, plagues, and employes thousands of divorce lawyers. It. Cannot. Be. Stopped.
