If 9 seed Florida Atlantic of C-USA wins title, it would be lowest seed with the crown in history. C-USA has had only 3 ptjer teams to reach the Final Four: Memphis in 2006, Louisville in 2005 and Marquette in 2003. No C-USA team has ever won March Madness.

San Diego State is the first Mountain West team to make the Final Four so it would be the first to win March Madness.

If 4 seed Connecticut wins title it will be first Big East team wearing crown since Villanova in 2018 and would join 1997 Arizona as the only 4 seeds to win March Madness.

If Miami of ACC wins title then it would be first ACC team wearing crown since Virginia in 2010.
