Anyone have good video of the hit that put Clark out of the game? Not only was my ESPN3 feed terrible, it also dropped out right after that hit, so I didn't even get to see the replay - not that I would have seen much beyond a white blob getting knocked over.

My feed was pretty good. It got bad and after about five minutes I shut it off and relogged onto it and it was good again.

Seriously, is ESPN3 ALWAYS that bad or was it just our game? A lot of the time it was almost unwatchable.

Quit downloading porn while watching the game..

/seriously... ESPN3 is only as good as your connection/computer is fast. If you've got kids in the house with an ipad or playing xbox live, it'll seriously degrade your ESPN3 picture.

Listen, I have cable modem internet (so its plenty fast) and I kept everybody else off the internet and I have a brand new laptop that's plenty fast. Whatever issue I was having was either with ESPN3 itself or my local internet provider.

You could be on Google Fiber in Kansas City...

...but your connection becomes only as fast as your wireless router when you throw a laptop in the mix.

I had to run ethernet for best quality

I had people over and wanted to put the game on the living room TV. I have Comcast cable internet. Plan A was a desktop PC connection to TV, served by wireless. Bottom quality on the ESPN3 video. Plan B was a 100' ethernet cable from Staples that I ran from the router out of an upstairs window and into the living room downstairs to desktop PC. Top quality as long as nobody used the wireless. Never went to Plan C, which was to connect the ethernet directly to the cable modem and cut off wireless users altogether.

1st half I was over someone's house and he was wireless. I hardwired my connection for the 2nd half and it was just as horrible.

Here is my experience with streaming video having had TW / Comcast and AT&T DSL. Everyplace I have had cable modems, I have had really good download speed, except for those times where I have had real physical connection problems, BUT I also have had trouble streaming video because the connection is bursty and it will pause, downgrade quality, or outright stop working on video that you can't put long buffers on. This was a big problem for me with Netflix on AppleTV. Renting a movie was not an issue because it could download huge chunks quickly and then it could slow down and play through the big buffer.

DSL has been MUCH better because the connection is a more consistent connection. It is not as fast, but for this type of streaming it is a better option.

My connection Saturday played straight through with no interruption and at a very good quality. I have the very pedestrian, one step up from the bottom plan. No complaints from me.

Yep.. I'd say this thread took a turn for the worse.

It's not Donald Coyle-bad yet, but there's still time.
