Slowwalker, I agree with you 10,000%. Cal is gone, we don't have them on our schedule for the rest of season and I just can't understand why our fans, if they are true fans, want to continue with Cal & Hogs. We seem to look more like an Arkansas board than a UK board. Why can't we ever turn loose of a former coach? I'll bet the football board will not track Stoops every move once he leaves, retires, or gets fired. Why do we continued to be obsessed with Cal?
Honestly I think a lot of people aren’t obsessed with Cal - it’s more the fact that their team is what our team would have been so it’s like watching an alternate reality version of our team.

Now I will agree there are certainly some people who are unhealthily obsessed with Cal and watch every Arkansas game to furiously root against them lol, but I think most people aren’t like that. Totally normal for fans to be curious about a team that would have been our team and has our former coach.

You can't do it. You can't cap NIL. The very Supreme Court decision that established it also established it cannot be capped. It's been 4 years. How do people still not know this? Anyone who tries to limit it will be sued immediately and they will lose. It would take the Supreme Court changing their mind to change it. This is the new normal. Yes, you can limit what schools pay players but not what boosters can pay above and beyond that to entice them to play for their preferred school. Just read the Decision. It's on the internet and pretty cut and dry.
Meh I would rather you read it, learn all about it and then come here to yell at people about it. That seems much more fun. 🤣

Fland will obviously go and Adou should go since he'd probably get drafted in the 1st round, but none of the other guys besides Knox would have a chance to go in the 1st round (and even that feels like a stretch). I don't think DJ would even be drafted in the 2nd round so I expect him to come back. Z 50/50. Richmond 100% back and was never considered one-and-done.
Big z is showing the scouts he can be a very good shooter for a big! 7'2" and shoot/pass will get him drafted on potential! Adou is gone, and probably Wagner! I know where is Wagner going?? But there will be problems if he doesn't. Those 2 guards coming in next year expect 30-35 MPG and the ball in there hands! Everything will run thru those 2 guards. Knoxs/Richmond will fill out the rotation. More then those 4 between 1-3 there will be a problem for minutes! Wagner nor Richmond or either freshman will be happy with 15-20 MPG!

I would bet only Wagner and Richmond return. Maybe not even Wagner. Knox will go pro, just like Edwards and Livingston and Boston before him.

I’d be worried Wagner will go and sell his talents to the highest bidder. Same with Brazille. Z goes to Illinois and Knox to a school out West. Rinse and repeat for two to three more years before they realize we were telling them the truth the whole time. He got his bail out win in the can and his big recruits next year to point at lined up. Enjoy the ride.

Sidenote: @HamuelLJackson you have one of the funniest usernames I’ve seen. Cracks me up.

Exactly. I can write a post and not be obsessed. Some folks can’t figure that out

I mean, they could get every eligible player back and add their current class and improve on this year's results. That said, Calipari and his current staff will just improve their prospects from not making the tournament to a bubble team. And if the DO make the tournament, would a first-weekend exit satisfy Hogs fans and their chicken-funded donors?
