Hokie Football--Transfers????

Just heard the news tonight about three big name players planning to transfer from Virginia Tech next season, including Josh Jackson. Is there any story behind that?

Yeah Jackson, McClease, Kuzmah, and Cunningham all are leaving. All are graduate transfers with the exception of McClease. In a way, it is not surprising. They only have 6 seniors on their roster for next year and when you add 20 or so incoming freshmen, then there's ultimately going to be turnover.

Heard today that McClease was returning. This new transfer portal is crazy.

That's true. I just hope that all involved are aware of how it all works. I would hate to see a kid loose their scholarship by just testing the waters.
