Ck out this post :
OK -- this is probably way premature, but think about the possibility and benefits of Croom coming to Auburn.

First, Croom does things the right way -- hard nosed, discliplined, academics, etc. Fact is, he's a throwback -- one of Bear's boys if you will -- like Dye. And even though his record is not all that great at MSU, let's face it, it's Stark Vegas. Still, his teams play hard and he has won SEC Coach of the Year honors.

Second, as an African American coach at a program like Auburn with top notch facilities, he would stop Evil Nick's perceived advantage in recruiting dead in it's tracks. Heck, he's even gotten some surprising recruits at Miss St.

Third, Croom still has a chip on his shoulder about being slighted at Bama. Is it any wonder why his team's are so competitive when they play them (and us for that matter). Not to mention, can you imagine how much this would get under Bammer's skin.

Four, the national spotlight would suddenly be on Auburn in a way never seen before. Thus, we would get that little added advantage in the polls -- the lack of which cost us a National Championship -- seriously!!!!

Alright, that's enough for starters. But in my humble opinion, I seriously believe Croom would be highly successful at AU and build a dynasty -- really! He would dominate the SEC in recruiting -- and ultimately, it's all about having the best players in today's world. Thus, great talent would overcome his often conservative approach to the game.

To whoever you are; this is for you. The slow clap.

Unfortunately, with this being such a load, you'll be lucky to get a slow crap. You must have been laughing hysterically as you typed it.

that would be great...i hope that starts a one-man pep rally and a grass roots campaign to make it happen...

I would love to read some of the replies to what he said of our "great man who just needs time"

This isn't necessarily a good thing.

with both f'n yellow flashlights and personally direct Lowder's Netjet into position. I will then rent the Silverstar's f'n Hummer stretch, fly in a case of Macallen's Single Malt from Borglan's in Atlantic City and pour it on his dick for him, and drive his drunk *** to Byrne's house to sign the MFer off the payroll, and then drive his drunk but suddenly sobering *** back and have him tucked in and in route before sun-up.

Tried telling that feller the waywardness of his thinking...then it struck me...might not be a bad idea at all. I think he is just having a bit of fun. I think...

One I visit every day, as I do this one.

You'll find a lot of us Gene's former sheep over there, and many other fans of other schools.

Check it out. Might broaden your horizons. As if.

RCD

PS - it ain't much of an actual Aubie board.
Too many others there from other schools.
No real @ssholes like most boards.
