Seriously, thanks to everyone who posts and reads. What started as a joke has turned into a pretty decent site.

ole miss fans- please respond as if we have won 4 games over the last 3 seasons, Croom is our coach, and we are all downtrodden.

Do not respond based on current state of mind of the board.

Was the fact that people could have different views, and it was OK, and you didn't have to worry about saying something bad about MSU or a player. And it had women in bathing suits showing their asses. It seems simple enough, doesn't it?

I also think it's cool that people on Genespage told ya'll to make your own board, and you did, and now it's probably more popular than theirs- although BDJ has helped kill it to, and I think Gene's baseball site may be his coup de grace because it seems like it's really starting to stretch him thin.

With Gene, I felt like I was a child being admonished by a parent. Here, I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of my friends about MSU sports- and for some on here, that actually is the case on a personal level! That just makes it a really cool forum. I mean, who really wants to talk sports with someone named Mommydog?

I mean, some of my best posts are my rants- and those would not last on Genespage. That's great message board lilterature that would be flushed down the toilet. That's like when the Nazi's burned literature. Not to mention, it helps my blood pressure.

So, thanks for kicking ***.

Go State!

Like, what the Pope does in the woods?

Congrats on the milestone.

Please remember the buildup of IT is usually a lot more than IT. But maybe this time, IT will be, to some, worth more than the buildup.

a couple of months ago and they said they couldn't. It was basically going to have to be perfect timing for me to catch it and I forgot about it.

that wasn't sheepish, and not overly critical. Those are the principles that this board was founded on. So its only fitting that jamdawg96's post regarding a 2-2 start is the 1,000,000th post in SPS history.

PS - I really thought it was going to be a Coach34 or one of the Ole Miss douchebags.

There are a lot of posters, many of whom have been on this board far longer than I, who would've been more fit to cross such a milestone.<div>
</div><div>Regardless, congrats to the creators of Sixpackspeak. If there's a message board following college athletics that's more engaging, active, and well run... I'd like to see it. We may all share the burden of supporting a team/school haunted by dead indians, walruses, and the breath of God himself... but collectively we're an electronic powerhouse worthy of internet championships, if there were such a thing.</div>
