I know if Narrows wins they have home field, my question is if both Galax and Chilhowie win where will the game be played? I know Chilhowie is the one seed in D and Galax is the 2 seed in C but Galax out pointed Chilhowie if I'm not mistaken. Does VHSL go by the seeding or the points to decide home feld?

Strickly based on power points as far as I know. They made that decision about halfway through the season after starting the season with the old idea of rotating between the regions like they used to. C is hosting D in 1A this year regardless of who wins either game.

What the heck. How does VSHL not reward on power points? I know Narrows - Galax winner out points the D teams this year, but that seems short changing team that has higher points.

From everything I could find stated that the team with the higher points hosted. It didn't say anything about switching regions to host. But then again I could find very little.

You must be confused. The team with the HIGHEST RATING will host. Meaning their ending power points.
