Are there any stores in West Virginia where you can build/buy higher end stereo systems?

I checked with an Audio/Visual store in my area, and was stunned at the huge price they quoted me for off-the-shelf, stock equipment and install. I was fortunate enough to discover the AVS Forum instead.

When i built my home theater ManCave, i leaned 99.9% on this tremendous website. It is a discussion group for all things related to a home theater. I mean ALL things.

How to design the room for best acoustics, measurements for how close/far to place seating, where to place speakers, what speakers are recommended, what chairs are best and where to buy them, stereo equipment, etc.

With their help i did all the infrastructure myself before a finish carpenter installed drywall, chair railing, box moulding, tray ceiling with recessed rope lighting on a dimmer switch, false wall with access door to get behind it for space to hide wiring, etc.). I threaded top-quality speaker wire through flex tubing from a/v equipment, before ceiling was installed, to each speaker. I bought theater seating, top-notch receiver, large-screen tv, blu-ray player (much higher quality than streaming, both sound and picture), 7+1 speaker system, had carpenter build floor-to-ceiling speaker boxes, had cabinet maker build viewing cabinet and shelves, etc.

Point is, I had no idea how to do any of that, but the AVS Forum guided me. It is so good that many vendors of stereo equipment, theater seating, etc. participate in the discussions and even offer discounts to folks on the forum. Hopefully, what i just said is still true, as i built my ManCave several years ago.
