Hey Folks...
Know many of us are trapped at home for the past many months. COVID and WFM has allowed me to get back to having a veggie garden at home.
Starting a thread to see if others are doing to same and if so, maybe you would be willing to share the details of your gardens. If the thread takes off, I'll post some pics of my raised beds.
I started a good portion of my garden indoors from seeds. I am in zone 5B and waited until late May to put everything outside. In my garden, I currently have:
Tomatoes (slicing, plums and cherries)
Peppers (variety bells, poblanos, anaheim, jalapenos, habaneros)
Eggplants
Cukes
Lettuce (still growing in this heat)
Beans (pole and bush)
Squash (summer, Italian, butternut)
Honeydews
Herbs (cilantro, curly and flat parsley, basil, rosemary, oregano, mint)
I am sure I am forgetting some stuff, but that is the bulk of it. I have 4 4x12 raised beds and use a small area for the squash.
The plan once things fully fruit is to start canning them.
Let's see how this thread does.
