Any poll or ranking or what have u that has pinecrest in front of Scotland and Richmond isn't worth the time it takes to read it.

I understand you work at changing your formulas, but damn I don't even want to look for the other glaring errors.

What's wrong with Pinecrest at #4? They currently lead the entire 4A ranks in the state in scoring differential and have decisively hammered everyone they've played so far. Neither Richmond nor Scotland can claim either one of those two current accomplishments.

I hate to say it but I think Piecrest has a dang pretty good team ..Deserving of at least the top 10...10 returning starters on Defense, an Experienced leader at qb, and a d1 offensive lineman......They are legit.....The early scots vs pine will be a classic to see.....nuff said......

Here's the thing with Pinecrest...if they are a pretender, then they'll be exposed soon enough. In the meantime, they've looked better than either Scotland or Richmond has, so rank them higher. That will be easy enough to change when the time comes if it's not legit.

Having more teams in your conference getting good publicity is never a bad thing.

Agree with the stats Hokie but here we remember the last time there was this much hoorah about Pinecrest 2 years ago. 7-0 then 75 Scotland points later
the Patriots came down to Earth. Locally there is the feeling that they might
just be for real this year..

I know those stats have been put up against less-than-stellar competition...but then again...LOTS of teams around the state have played less-than-stellar competition so far and they haven't rung up numbers like these. So who knows, maybe they are for real.

Butler scrimmaged that Pinecrest team 2 years ago (hmmm...or maybe it was last year?), so I saw them before the season started. Based on what I saw at the scrimmage, I was shocked at how rattled they were going into your game and how bad you guys thumped them that year. So I definitely know you're in their heads and that a Pinecrest victory isn't likely any time soon. However, I also remember how bad Indy was in Butler's head there for a while...but if you keep playing with the door knob long enough, you'll eventually figure out how to let yourself in. A team that isn't used to winning big games will easily rattle there for a while, but eventually they get tired of stinking up the joint and get down to business.
