Is it just me or did it seem like in the 4th quarter once they scored that touchdown we just kind of wrapped the game up? I get it that we didn't want to have any more offensive linemen injured, but it just seems like they started playing to keep the game close and not try to get some points. Why are we not at least trying to score a TD in the 4th quarter when we finally started getting some movement? If anything it would build some confidence for the rest of the season. I thought with 3 time outs when we got the ball, we would try to get in the endzone. To me the difference in the game was the play calling. We had a running joke during the whole game about the QB keepers. "I'm going to do something crazy here, pull a play deep out of the playbook... Let's go QB keeper up the middle". It started to look like our pathetic play calling we had when Croom was here. For me it was all about being aggressive and we weren't aggressive at all.

Also, I thought the officiating was good for once. Bonner was an idiot, if you look at the replay he lowered his shoulder into the receiver. Just plain dumb.

Edit: I also think that Dylan Favre should have gotten a shot. I mean get the kid some PT. If he thinks he can play with the big boys then why not give him a shot. Especially when you've already given up on the game.

as I peruse the board, I think there were some preassessments that failed. Thats the only explanation I have for all the shock and awe.</p>
