he can suck it. They've got to pay the SOB a quarter of a billion dollars, he can get over it. They've got to put butts in seats to pay his whining ***.

Yea, El Hombre isn't exactly being a racial slur but Pujols doesn't seem to agree too much. If it offends him, why should he get used to it? How is it any different than the "Chink in the Armor" headline with ESPN other than it not being a major publication putting up the billboard?

everybody's way too hypersensitive about that sort of thing these days. Call it part of life and get on with it. I don't see a whole lot of objection when folks refer to whites as honkies and Southern whites as rednecks ... and if you think about it, it's just as bad as the others.<div>
</div><div>And nobody, absolutely nobody, is worth that sort of money to play baseball. The only way he would be worth it is if the team turned a good profit over and above his salary because he's there. And that will be very hard to do, probably impossible. Tickets to MLB are already so high most people can't afford to go. 20 years ago we used to go to Braves games and the best tickets were about $8 ... and you could get a night in the Marriott Suites plus a couple of tickets for about $70 on the weekend ... and an included breakfast. Even with inflation, current prices are waaaaay too high for the common man.</div>

is that he doesn't like it because of his respect for Stan "The Man" Musial. Not an ethnicity thing.

I had read another one but closed it and when I got ready to post I googled it to get a link and assumed it was the same one. Prime example of what happens when one assumes.
