everybody's way too hypersensitive about that sort of thing these days. Call it part of life and get on with it. I don't see a whole lot of objection when folks refer to whites as honkies and Southern whites as rednecks ... and if you think about it, it's just as bad as the others.<div>
</div><div>And nobody, absolutely nobody, is worth that sort of money to play baseball. The only way he would be worth it is if the team turned a good profit over and above his salary because he's there. And that will be very hard to do, probably impossible. Tickets to MLB are already so high most people can't afford to go. 20 years ago we used to go to Braves games and the best tickets were about $8 ... and you could get a night in the Marriott Suites plus a couple of tickets for about $70 on the weekend ... and an included breakfast. Even with inflation, current prices are waaaaay too high for the common man.</div>
