Congrats to both of them but dang how I do wish we had Winslow still.28 Pts for Hood versus Cavs and 20 points for Winslow in Heat blowout.
Hood= Yes definitelyIt's been fun watching Hood and Winslow overachieve (compared to their draft position). Congrats, gentlemen.
In defense of my Nugs, the Heat only won by 5 ;-).28 Pts for Hood versus Cavs and 20 points for Winslow in Heat blowout.
Winslow should be an ALL NBA defender in another year or 2. If he can consistenly knock down 3's (probably a few years away from that) he will be an All-Star.In defense of my Nugs, the Heat only won by 5 ;-).
Winslow seems to be getting stronger as the year goes on, at least if his box score is any indication. Heat had him guarding Mudiay at times, another example of his versatility.
Is that you, Will Graves?In defense of my Nugs, the Heat only won by 5 ;-).
Hood= Yes definitely
Winslow= Everyone thought him falling to 10 was absurd. Also the Celtics made a godfather offer to try to get him at 9. So I don't think Winslow is surprising anyone.
What kind of night did Hanstravel and JP Harrystone have? how about Butter?
SB Nation has great article on Justise, talks about his hoops knowledge & only being 19.
In the one and done era I have to admit I peek in a little more at NBA games these days to watch former Dukies. It's always fun to see our guys doing well in the league. There are few things I miss more from last year than Winslow ripping down a rebound or making a steal and heading down court with a full head of steam.
On a related topic, anybody keeping an eye on Redick's 3 point shooting percentage? He hit one last night from the bench, not kidding!! Too bad he's too slow, too short, un-athletic and will never last in the NBA.![]()

Completely agree about Winslow. I actually recently rewatched some of the Duke/Virginia game from last year on YouTube. Him being able to speed up the game by going coast to coast really helped us against that tenacious defense!In the one and done era I have to admit I peek in a little more at NBA games these days to watch former Dukies. Winslow was a steal in the draft for Miami. I can't believe he didn't go sooner, what a baller. I miss watching him take it coast-to-coast.Hood= Yes definitely
