Feel like this deserves its own thread. Probably the most egregious and blatant missed call in my lifetime. Dude was hugging Oweh with one arm and refs swallow the whistle that led to an and 1.

The thing that made it so bad is they also call a foul on Oweh, if your going to let him hook you can't call a foul on Oweh.
I honestly have no clue. But I think there needs to be a full on investigation of the entire reffing community as far as betting goes.
One of the most blatantly obvious fouls that I have ever seen that didn't get called.

If they don’t investigate that call … they have to draw a line somewhere and start holding officials accountable
Might be the worst call in history. Not only was it an obvious hook, but to then call a foul on Oweh, is unreal.

On a regular basis, why isn’t someone raising a red flag and saying what was up with this call?
They just go home after the game then show up again at Rupp Arena next week and do the same thing again!

This call doesn't hurt as bad, because the stakes aren't as high, the ones in our E8 game in 2017 should have resulted in a certain ref getting banned from officiating anymore games.

That's when I started to HIGHLY suspect CBB being rigged.
Missing the hook is one thing. But to double down and call a foul on Oweh is insane
We are 13-0 with Hartness officiating but he did his best to change that today.
Yeah, but that was a back breaking call. Even the announcers couldn't believe it.
Genuinely one of the worst no calls I’ve ever seen. I may have over reacted in my living room and scared my whole family lol. I just don’t understand how 20k people in the stands, and who’s knows how many people watching on tv, can see it clearly, but the 3 guys on the court who’s sole job it is to enforce the rules, miss it.

That ref was the same one who let Storrs knock Chandler 8 feet back with his shoulder. The little dark haired punk that swallowed his whistle a lot today.
Some of the reach ins when a player is going up to shoot and the ball is knocked away are difficult in real time, so I give officials some grace on those. I’ve honestly never seen a more obvious offensive hook in my life.

It’s worse live. I screamed yes! Hook!! Look at my phone hear the crowd look up and I be damned if he called a foul on Oweh. Makes absolutely zero sense. He didn’t see a foul on Oweh because from no angle did it even appear that way.
Stop just looking into the players look into the officials. There’s a lot of money on the line and that’s why they won’t have it, they being the leagues. I think the media isn’t touching it because they know it’ll be bad for business and access. Everyone involved knows to stay away from it. Otherwise media would be all over some of this and they don’t even look.
If the ref had been out of place I could see it, but the ref that called the foul had a good line of sight, that call was as bad as I have seen.
Came here just to say this. From where the ref was standing, the hook should have been obvious. And any Oweh's "foul" should have been difficult to assess. Terrible officiating.
You know missed calls happen all the time. No one is going to be perfect but how was that not challengable and also there was MULTUPLE bad foul calls in this game.
There was one call I think did go our way on a play it looks like Oweh pushed off his man. But other than that there was several that was just insane to me.

That was just one call. There were a handful of really bad calls in that game. About as bad as I've seen.

Look, not only was it an obvious hook, but to then call Oweh for a foul, is just criminal.
It wasn’t a “missed call”, it was a blatant attempt to control the game, so the potential outcome favored their actual REAL bosses… The Sports Gambling profit sharing clowns.
As soon as fans come to terms with the fact, that the sports gambling industry has to have a built in “house advantage”, just like every other casino/ gambling game in all of history has had, and the referees are it, the sooner the game and the refs actions, will begin to make perfect sense!

And every time we got to 7 or 8, there was a foul. Blatant attempt to control the game today.
Yeah, that crew was something else. It's always been a problem. The scale of the problem is what has changed, I think.
I just don’t understand basketball anymore. Probably thirty clear walks today not called. Palming on every dribble not called. Touch fouls they love to call on the and 1 plays, but, way more contact on other plays not called.
There was a charge not long after that on Collins, that was just ignored. There are three refs watching, and just let it go. Bad officials, when a guy is still talking about them, after a win. But Oweh's aggressive game pulled us out, of bad officiating.
