I saw lots of stuff on here about Michigan's 102-67 win in Lincoln.

I admit I am surprised that my Gophers got the 10-point road win in Ann Arbor tonight.

Our new 1st-year young coach has us at 8-1 with an entirely new makeshift roster. This win was even more surprising than the win at Mississippi State.

Edit: Continue reading for me saying how it's still worse to be a Gophers fan.

Congrats on the big win today. Hoping Nebraska can keep it within 15 when you guys come to Lincoln in February.

Thanks. And in case anyone thinks I'm trash taking or so happy....all of my worst most upsetting Gopher moments have come when we've had the best chances to finally be a power. Self-imposed sanctions every time.

Yep, teams like Minnesota and Iowa State are showing that it's possible to turn things around quickly if you go get a bunch of good veteran transfers in the portal.

Fred needs to clean house, maybe keep Breidenbach but tell the rest to take a hike. Then offer every good senior in the portal.

Breidenbach? I don’t see anything there. Not athletic. No inside game. Just another misfit hanging out on the 3 point line.

Tubby Smith was awful at the end. But after 2 years at Minnesota, he had the National Championship favorite roster lined up for us. True story.

He had a commitment from Royce White, and he had Trevor Mbakwe transferring in as a junior...to add to our NCAA team that was returning it's top 9 players. We would have had everything. Lawrence Westbrook was a clutch dynamic scoring wing. Blake Hofarber was absolutely really from 3. Nolen, Cobbs, Joseph at PG. Sampson, Iverson as backup centers. Damian Johnson as a 6'7" defender who rebounds and is a clutch shooter. Backed up by Paul Carter.

But our administration kicked out White and suspended Mbakwe for the entire season. Which caused negativity, transfers...Tubby toed the company line, and his recruiting and coaching went to crap.

Hoiberg won Big 12 Coach Of The Year because Minnesota kicked Royce White to him. I'm still mad about that.

Still waiting for Fred to get the next Royce White at Nebraska instead of another 7 win season in the cellar of the Big 10
Root for us then. Because when we get too good, we kick players and coaches out.

Clem Haskins and half the team immediately after making the Final Four.

White and Mbakwe.

Did you know that Richard Pitino's best team absolutely destroyed Alabama & Colin Sexton? True story. The media LIES by saying Sexton scored 40 while dominating in 3-on-5. Really is:

MN guard Nate Mason absolutely schooled Sexton...in front of a wild close-up NY crowd at the Barclays Center. To start the 2nd half, Mason drilled 2 3's right over Sexton...the 2nd of which was after a crossover that put Sexton FLAT ON HIS ***. Mason let him know it...and got ejected. MN was up by 25. Then fights started happening, Alabama's bench cleared...and it was 5-on-3. We took it SO EASY on them after that.

We kicked our only sure-fire Big Man off the team right after that. Returning Big Ten Defensive POY Reggie Lynch.

Fleck goes 11-2... in the Playoff convo all year. 9-0 after beating #4 Penn State. Beats Auburn.

Recruiting bounce? No. It actually dips. Minnesota & the Big Ten ban recruiting, try their darndest to ban football completely, implement isolation protocols which hamstring a hands-on motivator like Fleck, ban fans. And all of a sudden coaches like Brohm, Campbell, Ferentz, everyone is ranked ahead of Fleck on all the websites and media.

Like I say....doing well has made me the most upset.
