Hopefully not Germans, but From the "I'm not Surprised" department on Cam Newton

Wow. Doesn't surprise me. I wonder how Jason Whitlock will defend him now. This is the attitude that I dont think you can have as a QB and make it in the NFL. You can have success as a WR but not as a QB. You have to be a team leader and he isn't exhibiting those attributes.

There have been lots of reports about his attitude after early season losses - moping around the locker room and stuff. One report he held up the team bus for over an hour moping in the locker room and Steve Smith had to go get him moving. As physically talented as they come, but he needs some work in the personality/leadership dept.

I've always felt like his behavior is partially an act. The root is definitely there, but I think he embellishes it as kind of an "I hate losing THIS much" statement. In any case, he's obviously not intelligent enough to realize that it makes him look nothing but bad.

Cue his agent to find a doctor/psych willing to fabricate a ******** mental disorder to justify this piece of ****'s behavior.

It's funny to sit back and watch....

the national media slowly start to realize that he is a jerk.

The innocent, fun loving guy that they all protected and stood up for "while MSU and Dan Mullen were clearly trying to ruin him" is not such a great guy now. As the spotlight burns brighter on him, he continues to show his true self.

I laugh everytime I see that Play 60 commercial with him and "Nate" on the playground, knowing it's such a fraud.

Not saying this in defense of him, more out of curiosity, but if he had landed at State and we had won the BCSCG... would the opinion of him on this board still be the same or would more people be defending him saying, "Oh, he's just young... I used to act that way when I was his age too."?

It would probably depend........

on the outcome of what would surely be an ongoing investigation.

Maybe... but I'm willing to bet if he was let off the hook like he was at Auburn, about 80% of this fanbase would probably say, "He's 17ing Cam Newton! He can do whatever he wants!" ...or something to that effect.
