There are a couple of interesting similarites between this year and 2003. We lost badly at home to a good Wisconsin team. Then lost a horrible game to Cincinnati team and got pummeled by a McBrien led Maryland team to get out 1-3. Richrod kept saying how close we were to getting the offense clicking vs the Terrapins but it was hard to take him seriously. Then we played a Miami that finished the year at #5 on a Thursday night. Quincy got us the lead with under two mnutes to play on one of the best runs of all time. But UM converted on 4th down and 10 and beat us with a field goal. More to the point, WVU ran the table in the regilar season that year and despite losing in the bowl to Md. Managed to end at 8-5. I am hoping for better but at this point that does not sound too bad to me if we get there in 2015 Lgm!!
