Wisconsin always has a big crowd there in Indy for the Big Ten tournament in Basketball and Football. They had a huge following in LA last week vs. Arizona. Wisconsin had more fans in LA than Arizona and everyone thought Arizona would have the advantage there in LA.

Thank you for understanding. Of course I have no problem with fans cheering on their team. I wouldn't expect otherwise. What I have a problem with is being pushed (yes I said pushed), and heckled the entire time for the great crime of cheering for UK. There was so much hate and disdain for UK that you wouldn't understand it unless you were sitting around the crude people where I was.

Having said that, I did encounter some nice Wisconsin fans earlier in the day who wished us good luck. It wasn't everyone just the jerks around us in our section.

My thought, too The OP's primary complaint seems to be that there were a bunch of rival fans there cheering for the other guy and against UK. Which is just a ridiculous reason to complain, if he didn't wanna be around that then he shouldn't have made the trip.

Maybe he thought the Final Four was gonna be like those SEC basketball tournament crowds that essentially look it's the UK Invitational.

No, I believe the point is how the opposing fans were acting towards them. Its one thing for fans to cheer for their team and an entirely different thing for them to act hostile, agitate, verbally abuse, and even assault other fans. Do they buy the right to do that when they buy their ticket? I must of missed that small print on the ticket stub. Geez, some of you never cease to amaze me with your replies to a post.

Dude never said in his post he was verbally abused or anything. May want to try and re-read (notice the other posters who went to the game replied ?)

He said "multiple A-wipe Wisconsin and Duke fans". Do you not know what that means? It doesn't mean they were pleasant, I can tell you that. Maybe you need to go back and reread, how bout that? And maybe reread my post as well because I never said that he was abused or assaulted but simply that it happens and TONS of fans have posted about instances with the fans there. I'm not here to argue buddy but why are you turning things around and making something out of nothing. You've done that with the OP and now my post.

No, he's telling the truth, I saw him at the game. I'll never forget that face. I didn't understand though why he was decked out in UL gear. The line beard was cute though.
