You can chalk this loss up to poor special teams play. We were horrendous on kick-offs. Auburn seemed to be one step away from taking it to the house on every return and we couldn't even get the damn ball to the 20. Auburn dominated the field position battle and the scoreboard reflected it. With decent special teams play and a D-Coordinator who could adjust and stop that damn run off right tackle and we win easily. Frustrating as hell. 17!!!!!!!!!
Other than the outcome the trip to Auburn was nice as usual. The Auburn faithful were very accommodating, the weather was perfect, and watching Spirit crash into the luxury box was worth the price of admission. The only negative from the game was some douche bag State fan in Section 12 who wouldn't keep his mouth shut and kept dropping F-bombs.
