Horrific explosion in south Lincoln

Some sort of gas explosion http://www.1011now.com/content/news...-to-incident-in-south-Lincoln--440392583.html
Had seen an update where the two homeowners were pretty badly hurt. Prayers go out to them and of that community. There was a gas explosion maybe a year or 18 months ago in Omaha and it cost someone their life. Hopefully that does not end up being the case here.
2 are lucky to be alive, if they are still living after that explosion.

I used to live in Lincoln and have a friend who lived VERY close to this house. I wont spread rumors but it is public knowledge that it is now a police investigation and no longer a fire dept investigation. Take that for what it is worth. Thoughts and prayers.
Not sure exactly what rumors your hearing. But as someone who works with natural gas, I would just say that you don't get that kind of explosion without A LOT of gas in the air. Would be very hard to be in the house with that concentration of gas and not know it's there.
I live somewhat near the area. I have some friends that live near the area. Its a criminal investigation for a reason. That is all I am going to say on the matter. I will let the police do their work and they will announce it when their investigation is complete.

Sounds good. Reminds me of recruiting rumors on RSS. "Insiders" making generic hints and then saying "that was it" when something actually gets reported!
Why do people feel the need to do the " i know but im not saying" garbage? Then why even mention it? Nice to try to draw attention to yourself in the midst of a tragic event.
I think its more out of respect to the friends and family of the ones involved. If it is true it really is a sad situation. But until its confirmed it should just be treated as rumors.
Rumor is attempted murder / suicide because of an ugly divorce. Spouse invited other spouse to the house and lit it up.
There's no respect. The truth comes out. The only reason people don't talk about it is because they're not comfortable, it's not for others' benefit.

The article or headline in the Lincoln Journal Star just saying somebody died from it
