So, even I thought this was crazy when he told me this, but a friend of mine, who works for the 'events staff' company for State told me tonight that his group received notification yesterday that we are in consideration for hosting a regional. He said the notification stated that if we beat LSU and KY we are a lock, but if we lose to KY it's a coin toss. He said they were in a meeting all day long learning the NCAA event protocols for evacuation and security whatnot. This may sound crazy, but he isn't a person that would lie about something like that; so perhaps there's hope.

If we beat Kentucky and don't lose to them in the revenge game Saturday, I'd give us slightly better than 50% of hosting.<div>
</div><div>Either way, I'm sure we're 18th-19th at worst in the Committee's mind as of right now, so if standard procedure is to notify 20 or so teams in the running, then I'm sure that would have happened.</div>
