I think it's the late bloomer theory. These women didn't hit their stride until college or maybe even after. They get back in a high school setting where they now get attention from the cliques that used to ostracize them 10-15 years ago, and they relive the high school days.

happening with great frequency since the sexual reveloution in the 1960's. Years ago people did a better job of keeping their mouth shut and it wasn't considered as taboo as it is today, ironically. I used to hear stories when I was in high school and I am sure most of them were true but no one ever got in trouble.

means there is absolutely no opportunity for calm, measured reflection over the circumstances or the repercussions of disclosure on those involved. Hell naw, you got 24 hours to blow this **** into the public sphere (in reality it's public disclosure, and you know it), damn the outcome.

Typical governmental overreaction to the problem of serious **** not getting disclosed like it should have.
