My guess is the 4 years of Religion needed to graduate is the biggest obstacle. I can't think of a catholic school in the area that allows early graduation.

The only time MC had early graduation was in the 40s for WW2

I'm a catholic school supporter, but let's be honest, it's about collecting that last semester of tuition. To hold back any kid from early graduation(to begin a college ciriclum) who is willing to complete the course work with vigor is just adults being selfish. With more and more colleges asking that athletes come in the spring this could present additional challenges to schools unwilling to work with the system.

The bigger question in my mind is why would any educator want to block a student who is prepared, from getting an additional semester of college work under their belt and paid for as part of their scholarship?

My guess is the 4 years of Religion needed to graduate is the biggest obstacle. I can't think of a catholic school in the area that allows early graduation.

MCC in Woodstock had kids graduate early to get into the spring semester because of D1 commitments in springs of 2008, 2009, and 2013!

The D line will be a key. Whenever Coach Dave has a good D line it expands all the things he does with the LB's and secondary. The past 2 seasons the DB's & LB's had to blitz to put pressure on the QB and that left holes in the defense. They don't have to be Smith, Greer & Richardson great, but the defensive line needs to be much better than the past couple of seasons.

In 7A the teams out there that should be chief competition are run-oriented, a Cary w Pennington, PC w Warfield, GBN w white Darren Sproles, GW if they fall there. So again it sucks to lose a player of Griffith's caliber and it is gonna hurt them vs. LA, vs. BR and Smalling but big pic in 7A it is gonna be more about stopping the run and the D line and not shooting foot with turnovers.
