$2.5 million per year. If he is leaving, I'm sure he was told to win the Egg Bowl or pack your bags.

If he feels he cannot win the recruiting battle in Mississippi he will "pack his bags". Mullenwould most likely do the same after a 4-8 record and back-to-back eggbowl losses.

of bailing as soon as things turn bad. If he has another job lined up I can see him jumping because he knows things are unlikely to improve at Ole Miss next year. Even with that, I'm doubting he leaves. Just seems way too soon after back-to-back Cotton Bowls.

He's a good coach, but he is lax in recruiting and the performance on the field will be the same next year. I personally think Nutt is burned out right now and I hope that he stays in Oxford with that attitude. Mullen's new contract extension will probably be announced sometime in the upcoming week. (I would think.)

Mullen put his message out there to the MS recruits, and I think a lot of them got it. I don't see any reason why next year we can't get 8 of the Dandy Dozen. Mullen wants to own this state, and at this rate, I don't see we can't do it.
