What policy of the federal government brought down egg prices in your opinion?
The details aren't important to me. The only thing that matters is the price. Way up under Biden, coming down rapidly under Trump. We might even be at lower levels now than the peak under the Biden admin, but i'm not sure about that because all talk about egg prices seems to have disappeared off of the donkey talking point list faster than Jimmy Hoffa.

With that said, MS Copilot AI has a whole laundry list of federal government actions from: Imports, to biosecurity measures, to flock repopulation and others.

The only reason i posed on eggs this morning is because i ordered groceries online from my local Kroger for the first time ever and that price seemed realy good to me. (my wife normally does all the heavy duty grocery shopping)

PS Ordering groceries online for pickup was the single best thing to come out of the whole covid debacle in my opinion.

Yep got 5 dozen eggs for about $13 at Costco last week. About $2.60 per dozen.

Man if this doesn’t just completely sum up the entire MAGA movement
Yup. Just interested in results. Lower egg prices, closed border, deporting illegals, stopping dems from allowing mentally ill men (from showerinwith women / girls, nuking DEI, getting european NATO countries to start paying their own way, stock market up on the year. There is more, but you get the picture.

Definitely a good thing that the egg prices came down, but not everything else is. Meat in particular

To be fair, I'm going to say the same thing about the price of meat that I said about eggs:

I'm not the stereotypical TI member:

I'm in my 50s, overweight and don't have the high 6/low 7 figure salary that most on here do. But I do have a good enough income that grocery prices don't really affect what we eat very much. An extra $30 or $40 a week really isn't that big of a deal. I do most of the cooking and I can say that our total grocery bills are up a bit under Trump, but not to the point that it bothers me.

I'm guessing that with the current policies, that food prices in general are going to be up for a while as illegals do a LOT of our crop picking and meat packing.

Pushing through a conditional approval for the Bird Flu vaccine back in February has helped treat current flocks and looks like is having its desired affect.

importing more eggs from over seas.

Lastly … not a policy … but probably biggest factor is that flocks were being culled at an exponential rate last year at this time. Some was justified, a lot was not. The “Stamp Out” policy by the Biden USDA was excessive, lazy, and just bad science… Anywhoozie …. Those flocks have now recovered and are laying again.

that is what has led to the lower prices you’re seeing now.
