Freakin Millennials are so attention starved, I am sure he is counting his facebook likes to this whole thing. Add to it the click starved media runs with it and publishes articles which I will not click on, or link here. Found it really annoying I have to say.

BTW if you like my rant feel free to click on the like button  below so I can go through my day feeling wholly fulfilled

If he surrounds himself with the right staff he'll be fine...

It actually really bothered me. I feel like it makes us look amateurish that he is getting attention. Maybe I am just being over dramatic with it but it really annoyed me.

I look at it as rather funny. While he would be an improvement over Flood, obviously we are shooting for the stars.

These things bother you? Of all the issues in today's world, a kid applying for a HC job on a dare ruffled your feathers?

I think it's great. Kid has a good imagination and got some press for it. Good for him. Ultimately this is supposed to be fun.

Lol, well I didn't realize I was supposed all things in the world that bother me. This is a Rutgers football board, and I expressed a view. No This isn't ISIS, but it is annoying...i am guessing you have expressed dissatisfaction in at least one of your posts, but I don't think I would say "gee isn't global warming worse?"

So i will list some of my top if your interested
1. Global conflict
2. Global Warming
3. World Hunger

5,100 his stupid application
5,101 your snarky post
5,102.....

i see... i just figured after witnessing an entire season of coaching incompetence and skyler trolling, most if not all would have developed a high level of patience.

So then you make a thread about it? I never even heard about this until I read your post. Good work doing exactly what he wants you to do.

Kids a Rutgers student and he's showing spirit. I thinks it's funny and the article will be shown to children and grandchildren. Might even make one of them choose to attend dad's alma mater. (Ps. Good luck on your search)

I think its funny, but I don't think its original either. I'm pretty sure other people have done this at other schools.

I am 48. Had a friend who was a good, not great ( not D-1 level) basketball player in HS. Submitted his name for the NBA draft, which was a bit unusual in 1985. After several conversations with the NBA (they initially denied him) his name was part of the 1985 NBA draft. He has a bunch of cool stuff from it. Not surprisingly he has gone on to have a very nice career. I bet Ben does as well. Nice job by the kid.
