Anybody who knows anything about college basketball knew they wouldn't be lined up to take the MSU job - despite what some of the resident Sixpackspeak novices said for years.

But I'm not sure anybody thought Stricklin would have to settle for a guy with Ray's resume.

Yep. This is a guy who wasn't on anyone's radar, save possibly Winthrop. Recruiting is going to make or break him, and hopefully he will step it up. He hasn't exactly been turning heads so far.
