How big was Brady's 17 up on the safety?

Instead of driving for a td you're driving for a field goal. I can't quit thinking about that this morning.

The Giants missed two separate two point conversions that they wouldn't have otherwise attempted had it not been for the safety, so the overall affect on the score was the same. The only difference would have been possibly the strategy used during the course of the game, but the final score wouldn't have changed.</p>

You can't look at the fourth quarter and say "if not for the safety" they would have been down by less than a FG. Hell the safety was in the first quarter. If they don't get it, they might drive down for a TD or a FG. Hell New York might take a pick six to the house later in the drive. Play calling changes, time of possession changes, NY doesn't get the ball immediately back with good field position, so New England's defense isn't as tired.

Not trying to totally bash your argument, but it's like the butterfly effect. You take that safety away and it could have been a totally different game depending on what plays were called in the aftermath.

Giselle throws receivers under the bus. Which they then bobble twice and drop.(caution: 17ing used in article title).<div>Next stolen joke: New England's receivers were seen hanging out with Madonna after the game. They figured it was obvious they couldn't catch anything last night.

</div><div>New England(again, more coarse language) responds: "Keep it to yahself, Yoko! Don't you dayah tawk about Wes Welllkah like that. He's gawt more scrap and haaaaht than that yoah Uggs-wearin' covah boy."</div> </div>

To me, his biggest mistake was the pick he threw in the 4th quarter. That ball was at least 10 yards underthrown and should have never been thrown. He had a window to make that play, but he couldn't get set in time and by the time he was able to get half-way set (he never really got set for that throw) the window was gone. Stupid play on his part and it cost them the game.

or the welker drop
or the loss of a TO bc of the decision to challenge manningham's catch

a couple plays determined the game. it went the Giants way last night.

that said, if Gronkowksi were healthy i think the Pats would have pulled it out. he was definitely subpar.

It's a game and very few outside of Alabama (***) play it perfectly. I still thought it was a good game. Tom had the ball at the end, throwing good passes that his receivers dropped. Lots of mistakes in that game on both sides

edited to add:

Big Win for UM though. Freeze "Da Cheese" using it in recruiting already.

edited yet again to add:

How willhe use Eli in Recruiting? "You may never see Atlanta with us, but should you be good enough to make the pros, the sky is the limit. And I am Freeze. I am Da Cheese!"

Seems to me like they were not good throws. Except for the one to Hernandez (I think), where he dropped becasue he saw the impending hit he was about to take, they all looked either short or behind receivers....just not goodpasses. I know they're nfl receivers, but he's also an nfl qb. Thought those passes were more on him than receivers.

He was going for Gronkowski against a LB that doubles as a school teacher. I think he liked Gronkowski's chances.

The throw was a bit high and behind him. It was catchable, and Welker probably should've had it, but Brady made it tough on him. He was wide open, too...not like Brady really had to fit it into a very tight spot.
