Cal hasn't quit on the team, yet...

Cal quit on the team winning a NC, many moons ago. He has not quit on getting as many as he can to the NBA. That is his goal. He is not a good enough coach to win a NC with the players he is recruiting today, but the players are good enough athletes, to get to the NBA. Staying there for three years is a different proposition. Cal doesn't care if they stay or not, he has done what he set out to do.

It's looking right now that this is a question that'll have to be answered at the end of the season...free-fall hasn't splatted yet

Cal's next book should be, From Gold Standard to Fool's Gold: Three Easy Steps to Ruining College Basketball's Greatest Program.
Been saying for years he is running a ponzi scheme....destroys the UK tradition, but makes multi-millionaires out of one or two players each year.

31-11 picks against UK at home playing an unranked opponent in Old Red’s game.

Bet that hadn’t happened often. And I imagine most of the 11 are just hoping to get points with a Cat win.

For me, rock bottom is when I don’t even know when our next game is or who it is against. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that would be possible. I think once you get to that point, any further plummet is just semantics.
