How do you fire Stans?

just enough to make the fans happy and keep his job. I thought this was going to be his hot seat year but then he goes and wins the tourney. After Swat leaves, we will have nothing. I predict next year is his last.

improve the OOC schedule the next two years and make him play some top 25 and top 50 teams...and quit scheduling the 200+ RPI teams....

Our record will tend to even out quite a bit

if we fire Stans the good news is that there will be TONS of season tickets in the lower bowl that open up.

attempt to get Stansbury fired, and as a result, stop making the NCAA tournament and winning more than we lose, for the hope we can bring in someone who can improve.

Seriously, we can't beat Rider and Western Kentucky, and people want to start playing Kansas and Duke.

Who in their right mind would WANT to come to Starkville???? I guess you think they should just hand the reins over to Robert Kirby.

No BCS conference HC would EVER leave their current job to Come to Mississippi State.

Stans is what he is, 20-23 wins NIT or NCAA year in and year out. Not going to a sweet 16 any time soon.

We get maybe 1 decent team every non conference, like a Western Kentucky, and thats it before SEC play. We need tougher opponents, and either Stansbury steps his game up, or we lose and get a better coach. Not just for strengthening our non conference, but for prepping us for SEC play. The SEC may be down, but that's how you get overlooked in the NCAA Tourney. Lose some games in a down conference that you aren't supposed to, and we have a tendency to do that 2 or 3 times a year.

quite a few people...I thought we just shut you idiots up when we hired Mullen? It's the same thing and hell, we are even better in basketball than we are in football

Serviceable coach, but just too stagnant.

It's damn near an impossible situation to be in as far as getting a "better coach".

that competes with top 25 teams every season...Stansbury cant do that. He has proven that time and again in 12 years...You're right- we cant beat W. Kentucky and Rider, its time to do something different, cause this **** aint working

5 years later they had 2 Cotton Bowl wins from the best teams they have had in 40 years...I think following their example would be a great idea

It will take several sub-par "SEC" seasons to fire his ***. And then he would probably just quit. I agree we need to play some real OOC games and Byrne is going to make it happen. Time will tell.

but Cotton Bowl sort of equals making the NCAA tournament to me. It certainly isn't equal to a Sweet Sixteen. But I get your point, we'll have to suffer through 3 incomparably bad seasons under some dumbass before we can get a real coach in here.

And yet we left a ton of points off the board by not making free throws. It is easy to blame Stans but if Phil, Barry, and Kodi don't make free throws, then we are toast. I laugh at this every time we have a loss because coaches don't make shots and players have to play. Fire his *** if you want to and then we'll wish we had him back. Coach's boy Kodi has been the biggest dissappointment on this team and if he had done anything, we would have won this game and the Ryder game. Get a life. When we beat Mississippi Saturday you fools will still be bitching.

We could get to leave his current job at come to Mississippi State to replace your boy Bury???

Im not a big fan nor do I hate Bury, but Im realistic like most of you on here. There aint too many people beating at the door to get this job.
