How do you rank the SEC coached jobs (here's my stab at it)?

I think it's hard to say that Alabama is definitively better than Florida, or that Arkansas is better that USC, etc etc. So I'll place them into groups:

Group 1: Florida, Alabama, LSU, UGA
Group 1A: Auburn, UT (only because the talent level in the state of Tennessee isn't as great as the Group 1 teams)

Group 2: Arkansas, South Carolina

Group 3: Kentucky, UM, MSU

Group 4: Vandy

Maybe it's having to deal with these ********, but I would not rank Alabama as the best job in the SEC.

Alabama has a lot of fans, a lot of money, and a great tradition. But, the fans are what would make that job hard. It's not the expectation, because what I consider the best job has high expectation too. It's how the fans meddle and want to be in tune to every little aspect of the team. Everything that is newsworthy is discussed ad nauseam. The things that aren't newsworthy are discussed almost to that point. Living in the 'Ham has really opened my eyes to the stupidity and obsession of this fanbase.

That being said, I think Florida is the best job. They generate more money than Alabama, and while expectations are high, I don't see the fans being so crazy. Maybe I would think differently if I lived in Florida.

Steve Spurrier made the Florida job what it is.

They have no real in-state talent and they will always be a basketball school in a football conference. They had one of their best seasons ever last year and went to the Music City bowl. Their only other successful period(s) involved rampant cheating. </p>

...and both UK and Louisville have much larger endowments than Ole Miss and MSU. Because of their money, UK has more upside.
