How does Ash, Durkin, and Babers compare....

2 were DCs at B1G East schools for 1-2 yrs and now head coaches...interesting within same division yet alone conference...and when add Babers, another Coach who did well in the MAC, these guys will inevitably be compared to each other going forward...

Oh Ash and Babers are definitely gonna get compared. The fact that Ash pulled out of Fruit U interviews to come here guarantees it.

If you are RU fan, Ash 1 Durkin 2 Babers 3. If you are MD fan, Durkin 1 Ash 2 Babers 3. If you are SU fan its Babers 1 Durkin 2 Ash 1000.

Think the Ash and Durkin hires both make a lot of sense for RU and MD. Similar strategies to go get top coordinators from successful B1G programs to bring in some young energy and conference knowledge. Think Durkin is probably the better recruiter and Ash is probably better with the Xs and Os.

I like the Babers hire from SU but I think it's a little bit different because he has an established style of football. Ash and Durkin haven't been HCs so that remains to be seen. Regardless, all three schools are probably happy right now.
