Yeah, first foul called on them around 5 minute mark in 2nd quarter. Kind of strange. On the other hand, I felt like the referees were calling lots of balls out of bounds off of them when it was really off of us. So overall not so bad.

Yeah, it’s getting a little out of hand now. We get hard contact with no call, and they get ticky tack calls bs us. Overall, so far the refs have been decent, but it’s starting to kinda look weird. I hope they settle in.

Last year, really the last two years, I basically knew our girls were going to win every game. Technically, I knew they could lose (and they did, once), but it would take a superb performance by our opponent on the same night our girls played pretty poorly.

This year, on our best nights, we will still beat anybody in the country. But everybody left in the tournament is capable of beating us, and a few could probably do it even without their very best effort. These girls are also capable of getting blown out, which seemed unthinkable 6 months ago. They are capable of winning it all, but they will probably need a couple of things to break their way.
