Since St. John announced his commitment to Mizzou he has continued to hear from several of the Tigers' Southeastern Conference rivals. It didn't hurt St. John's stock that Rivals made him a four-star recruit and ranked him the No. 10 offensive guard in the nation and the No. 5 prospect in Missouri in the class of 2020.

How is the kid the 10th best guard in the nation, 5th best in MO and 12th in the metro area.

Do they consider ESL as part of the Metro area? Since he’s number 5 in MO, maybe they have a few guys from ESL ahead of him. Those guys wouldn’t be ranked in MO since they’re Illinois athletes.
