How in the hell is UAB 2-5??? They played hard, physical ball

with some pretty damn good skilled people including the guy from Starkville. They matched up well with our athletes and that in theory is not supposed to be. Hats off to the Blaziers for a good game and thank god we pulled this trap game out of our asses.

Maybe they don't lose both of those first 2 if he starts. And of course, if their kicker wasn't worse than your average jr high kicker, they'd have a win over Tennessee. Also, it seems pretty obvious they're a very inconsistent team. Some good games (this was probably their best) and some terrible ones.

Don't try to justify this effort tonight by praising UAB. They suck. Hard. Got drilled by Southern Methodist. Lost to Florida Atlantic (that's right) on their home field. They looked decent because we made them look decent. Make no mistake, they are 2-5 and play in C-USA.</p>
