I know that these stats are meaningless, but you would think a secondary with Peterson alone would be in the top half of the SEC all year long.

And they are second against the run.

I'm thinking that Dan is going to use Tyler Russell a good bit on Sat. At least I would be tempted to based on the stats.

on one play...got momentum and LSU struggled down the stretch...they arent 10th best in the SEC- that's just a bad stat right now

We need to run the football- putting alot of balls in the air vs their D is a mistake...we can wear down their DL if we will pound on them...their DE's will eat us up on the pass rush

MSU doesn't have the QB talent to harm LSU throwing the ball....

MSU needs to:
1. play sound run defense, sacrifice the short to intermediate pass routes and force LSU to make long drives rushing.
2. stay close and wait for Miles to 17 it up.

It's hard to really get much from stats after just two games. Their first game they played a UNC team that had 13 starters out and the second game they played Vandy. Imagine if we played Alcorn and Memphis to start the season our stats would be amazing.

I think we need to run as well, and when we pass we need to block better than we did last Thursday.

needs to take the "Rebelbruiser to the rescue" picture and modify it to a "Coach34 to the rescue" picture. I think a Corndog with Stansbury's head wearing a superman outfit would be good. C34 is way faster to defend LSU than Rebelbruiser is to defend Ole Miss these days.
