unless you consider the 2 best back-to-back seasons in 50 years as a good thing.
Those 2 back-to-back seasons can't be credited to Snead - I'll give 2008, but 2009 was pretty bad. Without Dexter & the easy schedule you're probably a 6-6 team. So the Schaeffer thing was a joke, Snead built up high expectations in year one but was a hugedisappointmentin year 2, then doesn't even come back for his senior year. And now if Masoli comes in it will make you a better team but at what cost - a black eye that will be talked about & debated all season long.<div>
</div><div>I personally didn't want the guy at State - especially this year. If he could come in & sit out a year like he would have done a Oregon before he was kicked off, I'd probably be ok with it. But if he comes in a few months after 2 arrests and is accepted like he's done no wrong, that's messed up.

"</p><div>I don't know how I'll sleep at night if Jeremiah Masoli leads us to a bowl game thisyear, knowing that anonymous message board posters affiliated with Mississippi State and Arkansas disapprove of our quarterback. Oh I'll still cheer, but only at a muted volume.

if Masoli gives State an opportunity to win more games (I think he does), then I want him here.

And anonymous message board posters aren't what would annoy me - it'd be the constant stories in newspapers & on ESPN that keep bringing this up all year. We've got fans that get pissed when KV mentions a DUI more than once. This story would be a continuous theme in every report you read or hear about UM this year. If he leads you to 9 or 10 wins, it'd be easy to ignore. But if you end up with less than 8 wins on that schedule - I just don't see it being worth the hassle.

Also, please link some of the continuous onslaught of bad press Auburn is getting over Cam Newton. Thanks in advance.

We had to outrecruit a lot of big-time programs to sign Roberts, Kansas and Arizona specifically. Masoli's off-field problems have left him with only two options. LA Tech or Mississippi.
