Government controlling commerce is only good if it’s Trump, obvi.
Of course it’s awful
Some people in NY would disagree I’m sure. I’m not sure what to think of them, honestly, having the lower classes concentrated in the same areas of the cities don’t seem to be working too well.
Broad question, which specific element are you asking about or just asking from the stratosphere?
As I understand it, NY sets rates for rent increases in exchange for tax breaks for owners.
I would think that govt subsidies concentrate lower classes in areas that aren't going to do well. We have that problem here in Roanoke where the only large grocery store, Food Lion, left because there wasn't enough commerce in that area and it's in the projects. People complained that there wasn't a Walmart close by either.
Might be the only positives in NY is rent control. The dems that run it are out of control.
