in 2 sports out of the big 3 sports?

Chad Jones and Jared Mitchell have both. Any others?

Question shamelessly ripped from Out of Bounds this AM.

Simply because of that damn commercial for Mint. Please tell me I'm not the only one that thinks that woman sounds at least 60.

Mitchell and Jones are the first student-athletes in NCAA history to play for a BCS national championship and participate in the College World Series championship series.

The only other chance for something like that to happen recently would have been when Florida won back-to-back basketball titles, and the BCS title.

in incredibly small portions and like to wait forever for them and pay way too much then it is a great place to eat.

their burger has more flavor than any burger I've ever had. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

...and think that it's like that every time anybody else goes there, too.

Could be something like that.

got different stuff and both times it took over and hour and a half for lunch. The food tasted like they had never heard of seasoning. 2 crab cakes literally the size of a 50 cent piece and nothing else for $15. 5 or 6 bland, bland, bland shrimp and onion rings for $30. You can get better tasting food cheaper at Captian D's

I wouldnt go back if they paid me.

As far as the initial question.... i listened to the question on OOB and it does bring up a good point. But Mint is way to over-priced in the "601" and just like Julep, the service sucks My Top 5 1. Walkers 2. Mayflower 3. Cool Al's .... aka Stamps 4. Pan Asia 5. Fratesi's

Nick's
Rossini
CS's
Tico's
Char
Tokyo Express/OEC (same thing really)

edited to add: I don't know how many other players have won national championships in other sports? This thread got WAAAAAAAAAY off topic.

Sounds like Paula Dean's perverted sister. I do enjoy the food though. And if you go for lunch it's cheaper and still very good. Plus there were fewer people and service was great.</p>

I didn't like the old location...

Those LSU guys may be the only 2 to ever have done that. Deon did play in the World Series and Super Bowl.
