How many guys can we sign?

Early on a lot of people were saying we could only sign 16 to 18 guys. Scout is showing Coman and Samuels counting against this class. If this is so, we are at 18 commits right now. Does anybody know what we can really sign. I thought the new signing policy would not allow us to count back off the last class.

We are allowed to sign 25 every year, but that is not why our class is going to be small. We don't have many seniors graduating.

But I didn't think we could sign 25 because that would put us over the 85 limit?

We will have to have some attrition if we want to sign a full class.I looked at our roster andI counted 44 players classified as a freshman. Now that includes non-scholarship guys and practice squad guys, but that is still a ton of people. Mullen is starting to build a deeper roster, so it's going to be interesting to see who stays on and how selective we start getting in recruitinggoing forward.

I thought the SEC limitation was just a hard 25 limit on signees, not that you can't sign any more than 85minus the number of players who have used their eligibility.
