I don’t really understand what has transpired but a once great and very active Sooner Message Board has become vacant. I’ve been an active member for many years and so have a lot of other Sooner fans. At this time of year this board should be be very active. Yet not one post with football season about ready to kick off. What’s up guys? Hello. Is anyone there???

Typical coach talk that he is known for. That may have worked early on but I’m not all that impressed with his coaching style anymore. I agree! By now he should have all the pieces in place. The Staff and players are all his. This is his last chance to win a bunch of games. It's going to be an interesting season for sure!

It took me a few days to find it ( Owen Field) board had moved to this site. I think that may be the same for others.
BTW, I agree about BV. He either gets it done or doesnt this year. I think the Michigan game will define the season for OU. Win and there is hope, lose and it becomes a slippery rope the rest of the way.
lots of hype about the O this but until we see it I am not getting my hopes up. I think a 9 win season will calm the waters, anything less the storm is coming.
With that being said I think there are so many 50-50 games so 8-4 is my pick but 6-6 could happen again.
I have no where else I want to go so my activity on this board may become a diary of sorts. LOL.
I’m not happy to hear about the gambling allegations regarding Mateer. If it’s true that could be devastating. If not, just the allegation could be counterproductive. Luckily OU’s first game is probably the weakest on the schedule.

I may go to opening game. Just not sure yet though. As for Mateer I want to know how this so called reporter got Mateers Vemo infomation? Or am I missing something here?
I hope Mateer wasnt stupid enough to actually post that stuff on X or whatever platform he uses. I think this reporter is reaching and just now on radio they said they contacted this guys so called employer. They said the response was “ We never heard of him but we will reach out to check”
