Please don't use common table expressions over large datasets.

Don't worry, my database is only 24TB, so no large datasets happening there... I mainly code in something called CCL (Cerner Command Language) which is a superset of SQL that pushes you into a much more structured mode of SQL programming. I could do straight Oracle SQL in there if I wanted to but I embrace the structure.
