How many points do we realistically need to score to win this game?

I don't know if we can do it, but I think we might need 31 points. You have to figure Florida will have a realistic opportunity to score maybea TD a quarter, especially if we move the ballas poorly in the 1st half as we did against Auburn and LSU. I think the key is going to be if the defense can shorten the field on two possessions for our offense. We are going to have to get at least 2 turnovers to win this game, and giving our offense a couple of short fields is the only way I see us putting up the points we need to win.

I've had a bad feeling about this game for a few days now. I just don't know if Relf can win this game throwing the football, which is what he will have to do to keep us in drives. Running the ball is great, but we are going to have to passand catch efficiently to win this game. </p>

28 probably will be enough unless we turn it over a lot. I'm actually more concerned about turnovers than anything else.

I'm going to go on a limb and say 24. I have not been that impressed with Florida's offense, and even though our defense has performed statistically, they're not the greatest against the pass in my opinion. Because of that, I'm not exactly sure where I'm sitting. I do feel confident in that we will score. Although the LSU game was our worst showing, we were moving the ball relatively well for the first half and half of the third quarter... (I had to leave death valley by the fourth.) Only thing was, we just didn't have any good breaks fall our way and LSU's defense was really better than I gave them credit for.<div>
</div><div>Florida on the other hand... I just don't see them stopping us in the same sense that LSU did. I really do like our chances, but I wouldn't be surprised if the outcome went either/or.</div>

in total defense. So, yes, we have performed. Most of the pass yardage we gave up to Houston was on their screen passes.

We have been pretty good against the run in general- and that may bode well for us on Sat. If we can somehow stop or contain their running game, I don't think Brantley can beat us through the air. Florida is quicker and faster than anyone else we have played, though as far as running backs and slot receivers are concerned.
