So as a somewhat rational person, I had us at 8-4 with an outside shot at 9-3 and finishing a very strong 4th in the West. However, now with all this mess at LSU, no knile's in hogville.....Can we dare hope for 10+? Could we actually think about playing Bama late for the West? I'm still not deep enough in the bottle to think about undefeated but is 10 possible now? Oh, the wool is growing thick!!!! Thoughts from those of you who I'm sure are much more grounded than me....

in the fact that i don't think jj is very good either but he wouldn't be the starter if he wasn't the best option. it's going to hurt them no doubt. doesn't lee have like 10 pick 6s?

Their defense scares the hell out of me. They don't rebuild, just reload. It was their defense that stopped us butt cold on the goal line 2 yrs. ago and knocked Relf out of the game and had a pickapolooza at Russell's expense last year. I'm not too worried about their offense and even less so now, however we've got to find some way to score on their defense and that ain't gonna be easy.

Not that his skill level is what makes the difference, but the fact that they have a new offensive coordinator that's only had the job three weeks and he's been preparing their offense around Jordan Jefferson. Now they have to switch gears completely to a different type of quarterback, and they have like 8 days to put it back together before playing the runner-up from last year's title game in a city that is not Baton Rouge. So now, Jefferson IS the difference, because Jefferson was the game plan.

Until we find a way to appease the crazed voodoo gods, we won't beat LSU. There have been several times over the last -20- years where we have had great chances then pissed em away. For whatever reason, LSU always "gets their season on track" against us.

Example A: Tyson lee and the 1 yd line
Example B: 3rd string running back Cecil Collins and 200 yards

I have resigned myself to this loss until we prove otherwise.
