Our SOS is 69th and is probably playing a huge factor as to why we are not geting a ton of respect in polls and bracketology. TAMU has an RPI of 158 and a SOS of 169, so they are doing us no favors. Playing Kansas and beating them would bump them up considerably in both RPI and SOS, which in turn would help us out. We need them to turn things around and salvage something of their season to help us out. Same thing goes for Arizona.
ETA: For those interested on how disappointing TAMU has been to our schedule, they currently have an RPI lower thanUtah State, Florida Atlantic, andSouth Alabama. I know many don't place a ton of importance on RPI, but at this point I think it's a pretty good inticator as to how they've done relative to the schedule they have had.
