Was talking to an LSU buddy at work and he said he heard that some people are asking for as much as $8,000 for a single ticket to the LSU-Bama game. That seems a little crazy to me, but what do I know.

What's the most you would ever pay to go to a sporting event? I certainly can't imagine paying more than a few hundred dollars for a ticket to a single game and that would have to be something pretty special.

It would really depend on my financial situation at the time. I would do what I could to go.

As far as the Bama LSU game, I have a big big HD TV and the best chair you would want to sit in, great food in the fridge and quality drinking stuff already in the cabinet. I even have a stinky MSU stadium cup if I choose to use it.I will be exactly where I want to be this weekend with friendsI like and I won't have to pay $30.00 to park in someone's side yard.

I have been to T-Town Bryant-Denny and while it's a great event venue, the view will be much better on TV.

I'm most likely rooting for Bama, but maybe I'll cook some corn dogs to honor LSU, since it will be the BCS National Championship game, minus the glass FB at the end exceptthe wimmer will need to wait a few months to have their picture snapped at Wal-Mart beside the trophy in front of a stack of Dr Pepper 12 pack Cartons.

If State were to ever make to a BCS bowl or the national championship, I would be there. I would do whatever it took, even if it meant I couldn't do **** for the rest of the year.

Hell, if I had the money, I would pay a grand to go see LSU and Bama play this weekend. I'm a sports geek, and I wouldn't think twice about paying out the *** to attend a historic event.

or if the first Saints SuperBowl had been in New Orleans...I'd go as high as $2000 probably. For a Braves WS game I'd do $1500. I would never pay more than $100 for a regular season Braves/Saints/MSU game.

For SEC Title Game, any amount necessary. 98 was awesome.

For Cam Newton, I would have handed him $1,000 in a heartbeat. Why we didn't pay, I'll never know. We could have seen both of these scenarios last year. Sigh.

My aunt is a millionaire. About 10 years ago my wife and I went to see her in Florida. We bought a Lotto Ticket. We left it with my aunt in case we won something. When I called her to see how we did she said, "you did not win much only four". I told her not to worry about it. When she came home to see my mom at Christmas she asked me why I did not want the $400.00. I said because you sait wasn't much about four and I thought you were saying $4.00. $8,000 is not a lot of money to a lot of people.

I spent $800 a piece for tickets to the BCS national championship game last year and it was worth every penny. saw a guy pay $4800 for a single on game day with 48 one hundred dollar bills. You will kick your self later if you have the chance and dont go unless it is just totally out of reach for you financially. I am just now recovering from the trip to Glendale but it was worth every penny and I would do it again. for a big game like LSU/ Bama if AU were involved I would probably pay $500 a ticket to be there.
