How often do you drink?

Both weekend nights. One night I'm usually out and getting sauced. The other night (like last night) is happy hour and in bed at an appropriate time.

During the week maybe a few bourbons on a night or two.

I don't partake in alcohol unless I am feeling a little under the weather. I stay sick a lot. I prefer corn liquor (moonshine) and I am thankful you can buy it off of the self now. But I do miss Aunt Bertie's shine, rest her soul.

Weekends and an occasional week night if something comes up. Getting a bottle of Weller on Tuesday that I am pretty pumped about.

Ha ha! Good for you, man. Have fun. I had a blast there. Really enjoyed hanging out away from the strip over by UNLV. Brother Willy's wedding was the absolute BEST!

Hell yes! Willy is awesome and has always been kind to me. I really hope I can get out to to Texas soon. We are thinking August. Any chance u wanna get an beer in Austin if we fly out?

Certainly, but I will be out of town August 15-19. August 24 is our annual SEC kickoff picnic. It's held at AmVets down by the river and full of fans from every SEC school. Free food, beer and lotsa other cool stuff.

Monday thru Thursday pretty moderate, 8-12 beers or so.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I like to indulge a bit. I usually start with a Bloody Mary, then switch to beer around noon. Usually drink 12-15 beers until about 7 or so, and then drink bourbon the rest of the night.

One of my buddy's MIL used to crack her first Natty Light at 7:30 AM on Saturday morning, and then a steady crushing of the rest of the 24-pack all day long. Rinse and repeat on Sunday. Then back to work as an elementary school teacher on Monday.

Well Smitty..... I was liberal with my comment... I did the "Around The World" tour of beers @ O'Shea's, many years ago, and there were a couple that were really really bad...... One from India pretty sure and a XXX stout that was like sewer water.

So I will, take you at your word, and pass on the spit:)

Quit 5 weeks ago. Feel great. Also nothing I used to do drinking is less fun without drinking. I was a moderate drinker (10-20 drinks a week, more on vacation), but just decided it was time.

I may drink a couple of times a month. It's always beer and it's got to be something I know is good or that I have been wanting to try. If I go to some place and it's the basic Bud/Miller/Coors stuff then I'm drinking unsweetened tea.

I've also learned that if you pair a good beer selection with good live music, food, or titties I'm going to have some serious self control issues.
