How often do you see a QB as a lead downfield blocker?

I know it was only Rice, but Dak's performance already has my wool reaching critical levels. Also, his perfect TD pass to Sammuels and his 19 yard 3rd down scramble were damn fine plays.

Loved the effort he showed as the lead blocker. I don't wanna see him doing that next year though. He's much to important to our success

Yeah Samuels flashed some soft hands on that play.

Also did anyone else notice that Earharts's kick looked better than anything that has come off of Evan or Devon's foot this year. His leg looked weak on the kickoff but his arc and direction on the short field goal looked good.

True. And I hope we develop a better running game to take the load off of Dak running so much. He will run plenty I know, but going to be hard to keep him healthy if he runs as much as yesterday.
