How telling is the difference in Byrne's hires...

and LT? LT brings Polk back and hires Crooms as his final legacy hires- complete flops. Byrne has now hired 2 guys that are rallying the troops and infused so much energy into our school in the span of 6 months. Nobody has been this excited about State sports in 10 years. This is how its supposed to be. Wow

...but shouldn't we wait just a little while before crowning Mullen king? Isn't most of this "infused energy" the result of a fan base clamoring for a winner and would have happened with practically any hire? Kind of like rooting for the backup QB to play, no matter if you've seen him throw or not?

Yeah I went that far bitches. Out with the old and in with the new.

The old school ways of doing things are starting to disappear in all aspects of American life. Look at out new president. Look at new technology and the new sustainable ways of living. These are just a few examples but the old ways (LT, Doc, Croom, West Coast O, Polk, Jeanspage) are fading out and people are starting to find new ways to get people excited and new ways to live their lives. Mississippi State has finally figured that out. Young people are starting to figure it out.

Thanks Greg!

Is that progressive thinking is not necessarily a bad thing. The south is slowly starting to break out of its shell and Starkville is on the verge of exploding out of it. Hell, students are thinking about running for city council. This is a good thing.

With all do respect to the older generation, I think they are wrong on this one.

You gotta believe the Ninja has a short list.

[You Meos can retract your girl claws. I like Stans a lot and am not interested in seeing him replaced. Yet.]

he will most likely get a pass for this year. Next year, I'm afraid, he will have to do some major campaigning. The sixpack might fire his *** if he doesn't make it to the dance.

he better start recruiting guys that will stay in his program for more than 2 years. Stans is not a good enough floor coach to make up for the constant turnover and having to get young guys up to the level needed to compete for a spot in the NCAA tournament.
